Di Grammy Awards 2020, BTS merupakan musisi Korea Selatan pertama yang berhasil tampil di panggung megah Grammy Awards. Mereka berkolaborasi dengan rapper Lil Nas X dengan lagu “Old Town Road”. Grammy Awards 2021
Grammy Awards kabarnya akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 31 Januari 2021 di Los Angeles malam hari waktu setempat. Sebanyak 23.000 karya dari 84 kategori telah diterima oleh pihak Recording Academy untuk disaring dan dijadikan nominasi. Beberapa musisi mendapatkan lebih dari satu nominasi, antara lain Beyonce, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber serta Meghan Thee Stallion. BTS Tuai Sorotan di Grammy Awards 2021
BTS untuk pertama kalinya masuk nominasi Grammy Awards 2021 kategori Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Mereka harus bersiap karena lawannya merupakan musisi-musisi yang sudah lama berjaya di industri musik, seperti Justin BIeber, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga dan Ariana Grande. Beberapa waktu yang lalu, akun twitter resmi dari BTS yakni @BTS_Twt mengunggah ekspresi dari anggota BTS saat mendengar grupnya masuk dalam nominasi Grammy Awards.
Merasa sangat gembira, Jungkook, RM, dan Jimin langsung melompat dari kursi saat lagu “Dynamite” disebut dalam nominasi. Tidak tanggung-tanggung, RM sampai melempar ponsel yang sedang digenggamnya dalam suasana tegang yang berbuah senyuman tersebut.
Video tersebut mendapat banyak tanggapan dari netizen, ada yang menyoroti tentang ekspresi V yang cukup lama dalam mencerna informasi saat pembacaan nominasi. Hal tersebut membuat para fans semakin gemas dengan sikap stay cool dari V.
Dengan masuknya BTS ke dalam nominasi Grammy Awards 2021 tersebut, pihaknya tidak lupa untuk mengucapkan terima kasih kepada fans yang biasa disebut ARMY tersebut.
